Activating Areas

Areas are places within your Locations and Bldg./Units, such as office, restroom, and cafeteria, which you can use to further define where the requested work is located. Work Order has a predefined list of Areas and you only need to activate the ones that apply to your facilities.

How to Activate Areas

  • Click on the Add link under the Actions Menu.
  • Click on the Area link.
  • This brings you to a list of the available Areas with check boxes beside each one. Check the boxes of the Areas you want to activate for your account.
  • Click Save at the bottom of the list.

 

 

This list of Area types is available in other Dude Solutions applications; however your selections in one product will not carry over into the other solutions your organization owns. You will need to activate areas separately in each product.
